We went to a community meeting today. It was both on zoom and in person, but we did not know about the in-person part, so we just joined by zoom. We can go in person next time.

I made a new batch of rice today, this time just the white rice, and it turned out well again. That electric skillet does a good job for cooking rice!

We also watered the plants again, as there are some plants underneath the house that don't get water when it rains.

After this, I took a walk by myself around the community. It was good exercise, as the hills are fairly steep. It was nice to get out and walk.

In the afternoon, we met up with some new friends we had met at the party the other night, Ian and Daniella, and their cat Raja. It was really enjoyable. We had a lot of good discussion and got to know each other some. We looked forward to spending more time together!

Later, we had dinner with Ilana, it was very good! We brought some of our rice and beans to share. We saw some cool bugs outside. We saw a leaf beetle and some large bug that looked like it flies.

I also got my guitar, since Ilana brought it with her. I am really excited and thankful to have it again! She also brought us some nice pillows, towels, and bedding, since we are borrowing some at the moment.

When we got home I played guitar for a while, and it was really nice to get to do that again!
